What Are the Best Exercises to Lose Belly Fat?
Flat belly training can be done at the gym, but if you like to train at home, you have no reason to despair. Here are some exercises to help you lose belly fat from home!
Do not forget to warm up before starting the workout: use a stationary bike or run for thirty minutes, on the treadmill or outdoors. Furthermore, remember to be constant: to achieve the desired result you will have to work hard and train at least 3 times a week.
Let’s look at our favorite flat belly exercises!
Crunches (of which there are several variations) are the basic exercises for abdominal muscles. Lie flat on the ground, with your legs flexed (your knees must create an angle of about 90 degrees) and only raise your shoulders, keeping the lumbar spine strictly on the ground.
Bend over yourself using your abdomen muscles, trying not to move your head (the chin-chest distance must always remain unchanged) and pay close attention not to move your neck.
You will start from the same position for the second exercise: side crunches. Lie on the floor with your legs flexed. Contract your abdomen and slowly rise to your knees, keeping your back straight, then rotate your torso to the left, return to the central position and perform the other half turn to the right.
The third type of crunch (crunch with legs up) is done with our legs stretched up towards the ceiling. You will start by laying down on the floor in a supine position with your legs half-stretched up; you will then stretch your heels towards the ceiling. With your hands behind the neck, stretch up your bust and then go back down to the initial position (always keeping your legs up).
Another very useful exercise is the side plank: lie on the ground on your right side and lean on your forearm. Raise your pelvis keeping your body straight. Stay in that position for at least 3 seconds and then lay down to the ground and perform the same movement on the other side.
