Home Remedies for Unwanted Facial Hair

If you are getting tired of that ugly facial hair that no amount of make-up can hide, then we have got the right solution for you. You don’t have to spend your hard-earned money on expensive spa treatments and monthly or weekly salon visits. With these natural home remedies, you will get salon-like treatment and that too in a chemical-free and cost-effective manner.

Let’s get started.

#1 Egg White and Cornstarch

Mix a tablespoon sugar and one of cornstarch with egg white. Apply the paste on the affected areas where there is unwanted hair growth. Once dried, slowly peel it off. However, avoid this method if you have an acne-prone skin. This is because egg whites contain vitamin A that may trigger breakouts.

#2 Potato and Lentil

Take five tablespoons of potato juice and mix it with a tablespoon each of lemon juice and honey. Then grind some soaked lentils until they form a paste. Mix the ingredients together, and then apply on the affected areas. When completely dry, rinse it off with warm water.

#3 Oatmeal and Banana

Blend a ripe banana (half) with two tablespoons of oatmeal until it forms a paste. Apply to the area where there is unwanted hair. Slowly massage it over the area for 15 minutes and rinse it off with cold water.

#4 Lemon and Honey

If you don’t want to use wax, this is an ideal home remedy. Mix two tablespoons of lemon juice with one tablespoon of honey. Add the mixture to a pan and heat it under low heat. Once it is hot, add some water to make the mixture thinner. You can use this mixture as an alternative to wax.
