Cutting Carbs Throughout The Day

When it comes to dieting, many people want to reduce the amount of carbs they take in. The best way to make this happen is to cut away carbs from just two meals per day. By reducing carbohydrates for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can start to restrict your intake under 120 grams per day.

Breakfast Carbohydrate Cutting

Pancakes, waffles, cereals, and other breakfast carbs are not great for dieting. Instead, eat more eggs, Canadian bacon, and Greek yogurt. Other things you can try are carrot sticks, celery, and jicama. Even though there are carbs in fruit, there is about 1/3 the amount compared to starch-based foods.

Lunchtime

Skip out on deli sandwiches for lunch. Instead, go for salads that include meat, tofu, and cheese. Oil and vinegar is the best way to have a quality dressing that is not full of carbs. Vegetable soup is another great route to go.

Dinner Dinner

At the end of the day, it can be hard not to dive into the most fatty and carbohydrate-driven foods on the planet. But, you have to be mentally strong here, by staying away from all the starches. Some of the best lean protein meals include fish, chicken, and turkey, while staying clear of pasta, potatoes, rice, and beans. In turn, go for steamed veggies or a spinach salad.

Just Desserts

Just because you are on a diet does not mean you have to steer completely away from dessert. Consider blueberries and strawberries with a little whipped cream on top. Sounds good to us!
